Baku – APA. The Investigation Department on Grave Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office launched an investigation into the criminal case on German Sterligov, head of the Board of Directors of German Sterligov Group of Companies and others, who illegally crossed into the occupied territories avoiding checkpoints and made public anti-state calls under article # 281.2 (public calls against the state) and 318.2 (illegally crossing state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
On July 28, 2015, Nasimi district court sentenced German Sterligov to pre-trial detention under articles # 281.2 and 318.2 of the Criminal Code and declared him internationally wanted.
Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Azerbaijan is conducting investigation and search operations for his detention.
