The spokesperson for the Republic's Seismologist Centre Service of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Vusala Rafiggizi said that though the quake was felt in some coastal areas it was one of the common jolts: “I ask all media representatives, to be careful with the dissemination of information and not to create a cause for the concern of people.”

Baku – APA. Quake has hit Azerbaijan. Republic Seismological Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA that the quake was recorded 14km away from Nardaran, Caspian Sea at 09.35.
