The Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General conducted an operation in the Garadagh District Executive Power, APA reports.
Several officials were detained as a result of the operation.
The detained Garadagh District Deputy Executive Director Nadir Muradov, the chief advisor of the district's economic department Gafar Abdullayev, and the deputy head of the State Property Management and Efficient Use Control Department of the State Property Service Zulfugar Mansurov were arrested for 3 months and 28 days by the decision of the Binagadi District Court.
The accused are charged under Articles 311.3.1 (bribery - committed by a group of persons or an organized gang in advance), 311.3.2 (bribery - committed repeatedly), and 311.3.3 (bribery in large amounts) of the Criminal Code.

Other individuals were also detained during the operation.
No submissions have been received in court regarding them yet.
It is reported that non-arrest preventive measures have been chosen for several individuals.
The investigation is ongoing, and other officials are being questioned. Additional detainees are expected.
