Today, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency's (AQTA) 1003 Call Center received a report from the Zagatala Central District Hospital regarding suspected food poisoning linked to chicken doner served at the "Real" café in the district.
In response to APA's inquiry, the AQTA said that, as part of the investigation, its specialists collected samples of the chicken doner as well as other food products offered for consumption for laboratory analysis.
In addition, an unscheduled inspection was carried out at the "Real" café, and the establishment's operations were temporarily suspended.
Appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the law based on the final results of the investigation and laboratory examinations.

Starting from around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, 14 people — including nine men, three women, and two minors — were hospitalized at the Emergency Department of the Zagatala Central District Hospital with suspected food poisoning.
In response to APA's inquiry, the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB) said that the patients were provided with the necessary medical care.
It was noted that all of them were discharged for outpatient treatment after their conditions were assessed as satisfactory.

More than 10 people have been affected by a mass food poisoning incident in Zagatala, APA reports.
According to preliminary information, they were poisoned after consuming doner kebabs.
An investigation into the incident is underway at the Zagatala District Prosecutor's Office.
