"A total of 399 people have been readmitted to Azerbaijan this year," said Vusal Huseynov, Chief of the State Migration Service, speaking during a media tour on the topic of "Media Awareness in the Field of Migration," APA reports.
He said that 306 of those readmitted were Azerbaijani citizens who were mainly returned to Azerbaijan from European Union member states.
"In addition, another readmission operation is planned to be carried out by charter flight in the near future. The public will be officially informed once the final decision is made.
Overall, the readmission process is ongoing and is carried out on a regular basis," Huseynov said.
