Today at around 07:35 a.m., due to the road traffic accident that occurred in the Shamkir district, 12 people (11 women and 1 man) were hospitalized in the Emergency Medical Aid Department of Shamkir District Central Hospital, TABIB told APA.
It was noted that they were diagnosed with multiple traumas to various parts of the body.
The treatment of the injured persons is continuing at the medical facility.
At present, the condition of 10 people is assessed as moderately severe, while the condition of 2 people is considered severe.

A serious road traffic accident occurred in the Shamkir district, APA’s local bureau reports.
Amoving “Mercedes” minibus lost control and overturned into an irrigation canal on the side of the road.
As a result of the accident, 6 people were injured. The wounded were taken to the hospital by ambulance. According to the information, there were 23 passengers in the minibus along with the driver. It is reported that they were traveling from Yevlakh to work in a greenhouse located in Shamkir.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
