Azerbaijani businessman released from prison in Russia arrives in Baku: "We have always felt the care of the Azerbaijani state during this difficult period"

Azerbaijani businessman and owner of the Alekseevsky market Yusif Khalilov, who was arrested in Voronezh in August this year, has been released, APA reports.

Yusif Khalilov, who was released from prison, arrived in Azerbaijan today.

Yusif Khalilov's son Simur Khalilov told APA that his family always feels the care of the Azerbaijani state during this difficult period: "This is a demonstration of unity. Today is a very joyful day for us. On behalf of myself and our family, I express my deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani state, which helped to free my father, and to everyone who suffered for this," he said.

He also thanked the Russian state: "Our family's second homeland is Russia. I was born there. I received my education there. We still live there today. The Russian state has created conditions for us to study and work. For this, we express our deep gratitude to the Russian state."

It should be noted that in August of this year, Yusif Khalilov, a well-known Azerbaijani businessman and owner of the Alekseevsky market, was arrested in the Russian city of Voronezh.

The release of Yusif Khalilov from prison, as well as the steps taken to protect the rights of Azerbaijanis in various parts of the world, once again demonstrate that Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev is the president of all Azerbaijanis around the world.
