Shooting in Military Unit N in Ganja, one killed, three wounded

Newly drafted soldier Fuad Hasanov opened fire on four old soldiers by submachine gun. One of the soldiers, Jeyhun Mikayilov, who was drafted from Sheki Military Registration Department, was killed and three soldiers- Elchin Samadov, Vusal Seidov and Vusal Mehdiyev were taken to military hospital wounded. They are in bad health.
The murderer tried to escape, but was arrested.
According to the preliminary information, the reason for the shooting was that the old soldiers hurt newcomers.
Investigation on the fact is underway. No further details are given.
Ganja Military Prosecutor Namig Muradov told APA that Criminal Case has been initiated under Article 120.2.4 (atrocious killing) and Article 120.2.9 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code.
A source in the Military Unit told APA bureau that the weapon store has not been opened since last evening and it is not clear how the soldier found the machinegun.
The Defence Ministry confirmed the fact, but refused to give further information. /APA/
