Operative headquarters of the Emergency Situations Ministry established in Zagatala

Zagatala. Vugar Haydarov-APA. Operative headquarters of the Emergency Situations Ministry were established in Zagatala region, Azerbaijan.

Employees of the central and regional centers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as well as Executive Power collaborators of Zagatala region were involved to the operative headquarters, APAâ€™s regional bureau reports.

Tents are distributed to people from earthquake hit Gozbarakh, Zayam, Gimir, Chobankol, Bazar of Zaqatala, and Gullu, Tasmali, Lakid, Zarna, Lalapasha villages of Gakh.

7 magnitude earthquake hit Zagatala region around 09:40, on May 7. Aftershocks continued till late hours in the area.
As a result of earthquake some old buildings were damaged. Earthquake didnâ€™t cause loss of life and grave injures.

Paying a visit earthquake hit area the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov said that the seriously damaged houses would be replaced by new buildings and reinforcement and restoration work would be conducted in the houses needed repair
