Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova addresses General Prosecutor on Ogtay Gulaliyev case

Baku â€“ APA. Instructed by the Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsperson) Elmira Suleymanova, the employees of the Ombudspersonâ€™s Office met Ogtay Gulaliyev, which was detained in detention facility â„– 3 (in Shuvalan) of Penitentiary Service of the Justice Ministry. Press service of the Ombudsperson Office told APA that Ogtay Gulaliyev didnâ€™t complain about the condition in the detention facility and treatment and said that chief of the facility crated necessary condition. He worried about his health and said that the interrogation was carried out non-objectively. He asked the interrogation to take from Sabirabad regional Police Office and give the other regional police office or Internal Ministry.

The physician of the detention facility said that Gulaliyev has no serious health problem. Relevant advices were given to head of the facility and physician. Ombudsperson addressed the General Prosecutor on this issue.
