Azerbaijan Finance Minister released list of NGOs not submitting financial reports â€“ <font color=red>LIST </font>

APA reports there are the names of well-known organizations in the list.

Public Union of Azerbaijan Language Unity headed by MP Sabir Rustamkhanli, the Society of Red Crescent of Azerbaijan headed by MP Novruz Aslan were included in the list.

Azerbaijan Writers Union, Azerbaijan Union of Theater Figures, Karabakh Regional Football Federation, ABU Sports Club Public Union, Azerbaijan Literature Fund, Russian Community in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Writers Society, Neftchi Voluntary Sports Society, Azerbaijan Architects Union, Azerbaijan Managers Union, Azerbaijan Composers Union, Azerbaijan Cycle Sports Federation, Azerbaijan Draughts Sports Federation, Azerbaijan Handball Federation, Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, Azerbaijan-Turkish International Society of Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSIAB) are among the organizations not reporting about their finances.

Representations of different international organizations in Azerbaijan, including Iranâ€™s Red Crescent Society, Turkeyâ€™s Red Crescent Society, US Institute of Open Society, Saudi Arabiaâ€™s International Rescuing Organization are also in the list.

Totally 1742 organizations were included in the list sent by the Ministry of Finances to the Council of State Support to NGOs. It was reminded that the organizations had to report about their finances at the latest April 1, 2012, but they delayed reporting until April 18. The Council of State Support to NGOs warned the NGOs not submitting the financial reports that the Ministry of Finance could impose sanctions against the organizations not reporting about their finances until May 1. ALL NGOs must take it into consideration and observe the rules of reporting in time.
