Press service of the ministry told APA that the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran – Abdi Naser Zohrab, Dalir Ali Yadullah, and the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Khudaliyev Gabil Shekerali, Mammadov Ruslan Tahir, Murshudov Arzuman Mammadali, Lalayev Niyamaddin Sharafaddin and others criminally bargained to smuggle arms and narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.
The investigative department of the Ministry of National Security launched criminal investigation and above-mentioned persons were detained on charges of arms and drug smuggling, illegal storage, sale and transit of drug and arms, illegal bearing gas weapon and trespassing. The investigation is underway.
