Lukashenko reaffirms commitment to further promoting relations with Russia

Baku-APA. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Tuesday reaffirmed his commitment to further promoting relations with Russia, APA Reports siting Xinhua.
"I confirm that I am a supporter of the development of cooperation with the Russian Federation," Lukashenko said while meeting with Russia’s Amur Oblast Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.
"Many say that Lukashenko is overemotional when it comes to relations. We, the Slavs, are always very emotional. We have never built our relations, I mean between Slavonic states, without emotions. In fact, it is a statement of biased mass media," the president said.
The president also said that in recent times a lot has been done to deepen the integration of Belarus and Russia and to give a greater freedom to the economy.
"We have bright prospects and I want to confirm our commitment to developing cooperation with the Russian Federation," he added.
