Deputy chief of Main Security Department of Azerbaijanâ€™s Interior Ministry dismissed

Deputy chief of the Main Security Department, Colonel Yashar Nuriyev was dismissed. Deputy chief of Public Security Department of Baku Main Police Office Dashgin Mehraliyev will act as deputy chief of the Main Security Department.

This is the second staff change in the department after Major-General Yashar Aliyev was appointed as chief of Baku Security Department. Earlier, Commander of the Police Regiment for Protection of Especially Important Facilities, Colonel Tapdig Osmanov had been dismissed. Chief of Khachmaz Region Security Department, Major Imran Mahmudov had been appointed as commander of the regiment.

Yashar Aliyev had been recently dismissed from the post of deputy chairman of Baku Main Police Office and appointed as chief of Main Security Department.
