Prosecutor demands punishment to crime gang consisting of Chinese citizens

APA reports that judge Alisoltan Osmanov presided over the process. Public prosecutor addressed the court. He came to a conclusion that the crime of the Chinese citizens accused of the grave crime was proved. The prosecutor demanded 14-years imprisonment to Ci Fong Ping, Hu Ye, Vang Li Yong, 13-years to Vang Kong Yong, Yu Chang Bin, Jhen Si Hun, 12 years to Yu Huen. The court will continue on July 12 with the speech of defense side.

According to the indictment, The crime was committed on January 6, 2010. Citizen of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Yaogin, who is renting a house in Lokbatan settlement, appealed to the ministry’s Department to Combat Organized Crimes on January 6, 2010, saying that his wife Zhang Venlin had been kidnapped with her Opel-Astra by unknown men in the 8th km settlement in Baku. They demanded $300,000 for her release.

Interior Ministry and National Security Ministry immediately set up a group. The urgent measures found out that Zhang Venlin and her husband visited Li Vi in the 8th km settlement of Nizami district on January 5. At about 20.00 she went out and did not come back. The next day at 9.30, unknown men called her mobile phone and demanded $300,000 for her release. They said they will kill Zhang Venlin if the police are informed or the money is not paid.

On January 7, the unknown men phoned again and said Zhang Venlin’s forefinger had been cut off and thrown into their yard. The sufferer’s forefinger was found in the yard.

The same day citizens of China were detained as a result of investigative measures.
