The employees of the ministry were immediately sent to the site and the fire was prevented,†Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Etibar Mirzayev told journalists, APA reports. Deputy Minister said the fire broke out at 9.
“800 sq m area burnt as a result of the fire. No one was injured. Over 25 employees of the ministry, a lot of equipment was involved in extinguishing the fire,†he said.
As regards the causes of the fire, Etibar Mirzayev said information will be given after the causes are investigated.
The fire broke out in the building of the former Trauma Hospital in Uzeyir Hajibeyli street, 5.
