The Foreign Ministry told APA that Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated Robbert Gabriëlse on his appointment and wished successes in his future activities.
They discussed the current situation of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands and stressed a great potential for further development of relations. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his confidence that the new ambassador will contribute to developing these ties.
Handing the copy of his credentials to Minister Mammadyarov, Ambassador Robbert Gabriëlse said his country is keen to see enhanced bilateral ties with Azerbaijan and added that he will be making his best efforts to expand bilateral ties during his tenure.
