British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has supposedly invited United States President Donald Trump to visit Manchester during their first telephone conversation since Burnham took office, Politico reported on Monday, APA reports.
The media platform cited an unnamed official, who claimed Trump said that "he'd like to take Burnham up on the offer." In addition, the British media reported previously that the conversation between the two leaders took place this afternoon.
The new UK premier also said earlier that his "first calls" after taking over the role would be with the US president and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
