Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran have phone talk

Syria conflict was the top issue discussed during the phone talk on August 28. M. Zarif condemned the use of chemical weapons: "No country has had so many victims of chemical weapons as Iran. Therefore, we condemn these outrageous attacks in Syria, no matter who uses it. At the same time we want the UN inspectors to investigate these negative attacks thoroughly. Because the initial searches show that chemical weapons used in Syria are home-made. Therefore, we call on everyone not to blame the Syrian government and army for using chemical weapons without any detailed investigation.”

Iranian Foreign Minister also touched on military intervention of several countries in Syria: "The world can not afford a new war. The use of force is unacceptable in the 21st century. This can expand its coverage, instead of solving the crisis."
