The Foreign Ministry told APA that minister Mammadyarov congratulated Ambassador Cutillo on being appointed to Azerbaijan and wished him well in his future activities. Minister added that Italy is one of the major trading partners of Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador will give contributions to furthering bilateral ties across all areas.
Ambassador Cutillo said he was delighted to be appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan and added that his country is keen to enhance bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan. Ambassador stressed that he will be taking efforts to broaden bilateral ties during his tenure.
