The Foreign Ministry told APA that minister Mammadyarov congratulated Ambassador Petit on being appointed to Azerbaijan and wished her well in her future activities.
During the meeting they noted satisfaction with development of bilateral ties and Minister Mammadyarov expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would give further contributions to advancing bilateral relations.
Presenting the copy of her credentials to Minister Mammadyarov, Ambassador Petit said her country is keen to see enhanced bilateral ties with Azerbaijan and added that she will be making her best efforts to expand bilateral ties during her tenure.
