Elmar Mammadyarov receives newly-appointed Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku – APA. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dimitrios Tsoungas on August 27.

The Foreign Ministry told APA that Minister Mammadyarov congratulated Ambassador Tsoungas on his appointment and expressed his delight with developing bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Greece. Minister expressed confidence that Ambassador's activities will give further contribution to expanding bilateral ties and wished him well in his future activities.

Presenting the copy of his credentials to Minister Mammadyarov, Ambassador Tsoungas said he was delighted for being appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan. He stressed that bilateral cooperation continue expanding between the two countries across many areas and added that he would be making efforts to further enhance this cooperation.
