Latvian President to pay official visit to Azerbaijan

They will talk about expanding the partnership between the two countries in terms of political dialogue and economic co-operation.

The two presidents will also attend the Azerbaijani-Latvian Business. President BÄ“rziÅ†š will also visit the Heydar Aliyev Fund.

On April 25, Mr BÄ“rziÅ†š will continue his visit by visiting the Sumgait Technology Park and meet with Azerbaijani Minister for Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov and Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov. He will attend the opening of an exhibition of art by Latvian artists at the Azerbaijani Academy of Art.

Mr BÄ“rziÅ†š will be accompanied on his official visit by four government ministers – Foreign Minister Edgars RinkÄ“viÄs, Transportation Minister Anrijs MatÄ«ss, Health Minister IngrÄ«da Circene, and Agriculture Minister Laimdota Straujuma. The business delegation will be made up of 74 businesspeople from a very broad range of sectors in the Latvian economy.
