Head of Azerbaijan`s Presidential Administration meets Iranian President in Tehran

Baku-APA. Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev has today met Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran, APA rpeorts.

Ramiz Mehdiyev conveyed greetings of Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and thanked him for the high hospitality.

The Head of the Presidential Administration praised development of historical, cultural and religious relations between the two countries and peoples.

He said there was good potential for strengthening the Azerbaijan-Iran ties.

They noted reciprocal visits played an important role in rapid development of the bilateral relationship.

The Iranian leader asked Ramiz Mehdiyev to pass on his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.

They also noted that the two countries` presidents showed high political will for expansion of relations between the two countries.

They exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest.
