Azerbaijani Foreign Minister receives newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan - <span style="color: red;">PHOTO

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Ikramullah Mehsud on May 1. Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that Minister Mammadyarov congratulated Pakistani diplomat on being appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan and noted with satisfaction developing friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov also hailed the mutual support rendered in the frame of international organisations and expressed confidence that the Ambassador's activities will further expand bilateral relations.

In his turn, Ambassador Mehsud thanked the Minister for warm reception and underlined satisfaction for being appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan. He also went on to note that bilateral cooperation between the two countries expands across various spheres and that he will make further efforts to broaden this cooperation.

During the meeting Ambasador Mehsud also presented the copy of his credentials to Minister Mammadyarov.
