I have been deeply saddened by the news of serious consequences of the powerful earthquake in Sichuan province.
I share your grief, on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own I express my sincere condolences to you, the families and relatives of the victims and the friendly people of China, wish the injured recovery and the soonest elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster."
