Azerbaijani President: Relations between Czechia and Azerbaijan develop very dynamically and rapidly
Recalling his visit to Azerbaijan in May last year, the Czech president said that relations between the two countries are developing intensively in many areas.
Czech President Vaclav Klaus expressed his confidence that the visit of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in Prague will give impetus to the further development of ties. “At the same time I want to inform you that during the meeting, we informed each other about the internal political situation in our countries. With a sense of satisfaction would also like to note that our positions on many international issues coincide. In conclusion, I assured Mr. President of the Azerbaijan Republic is the Czech Republic welcomes the plans of Azerbaijan on integration into the European space. From this perspective, we will support Azerbaijan in its relations with Europe, relations with the European Union and are ready to make this all possibleâ€, - Czech President Vaclav Klaus said.
Expressing gratitude to President Vaclav Klaus for his invitation to visit the Czech Republic, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that relations between the two countries is gradually increasing.
“I am very pleased that relations between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan is developing very dynamically and rapidly. Your state visit to our country last year and performed in the course of his negotiations, the agreements define today’s rapid development. Our political relations are developing very rapidly. A clear confirmation of this is to implement high-level mutual visits. Compared to last year, our turnover has increased by several times, indicating that successful cooperation in the economic sphere. The documents signed today covers the sector of culture and tourism. Thus, cooperation in humanitarian sphere is also highlighted. Today we also had a very open and detailed discussion on regional issues, regional security issues. Azerbaijan is closely cooperating with the European Union and NATO. We always appreciate the support that the Czech Republic has this cooperation. Today was also given attention to the issues of energy security. Communication between us in this area is developing very rapidly. I am sure that in the future will open new areas for development.
