Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini on Wednesday, APA reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
The sides emphasized that President Pellegrini's official visit to Azerbaijan and the talks held with President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha would give a significant boost to the development of Azerbaijan-Slovakia strategic partnership relations.
The meeting highlighted the importance of Slovak companies' participation in reconstruction efforts in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, particularly in the construction of Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district.
The Slovak initiative to build and donate the Bash Garvand secondary school to Azerbaijan was highly appreciated, and gratitude was expressed for the gesture.
The parties also welcomed the development of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, energy, transport, humanitarian and other fields, and discussed prospects for expanding collaboration and implementing new joint projects in areas of mutual interest.
