Azerbaijan and Slovakia currently enjoy strategic partnership relations, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said during the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
The minister spoke about the nature of bilateral relations and the prospects for economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
“Our countries have successful cooperation experience in the energy sector and in mine clearance operations carried out in the liberated territories, which are still ongoing. I have already mentioned construction projects, and I am pleased to note that projects in the liberated territories involving Slovak architects and construction companies will not be limited to those already discussed. At the same time, I believe our cooperation potential is much broader. That is why I invite you to view Azerbaijan not only as a separate country, but also as a gateway to a wider region,” Jabbarov said.
