Victoria Dementieva – APA. “We discussed the issue of intensification of the negotiations on prolongation of lease term for Gabala Radar Stationâ€, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in the briefing held jointly with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku. He recalled that the negotiations are being held by the defense ministries of both countries.
Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan established a special commission for addressing this issue: “Now the commission considers Russia’s proposals on prolongation of lease term for Gabala Radar Station.â€
