The authors of the resolution – parliamentarian from Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk said Yulia Tymoshenko and other politicians from opposition must be released, the relevant bodies of Ukraine must offer conditions for their treatment.
“The resolution must be applied not only to Tymoshenko, but also to all political prisoners,†he said.
40 voted for, 2 against the resolution, 17 abstained from voting.
