Spokesperson for the US embassy in Azerbaijan Keith Bean told APA that during the visit Boswell would hold meetings with employees of the US embassy in Baku and have meetings in security institutions and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) is the security and law enforcement arm of the U.S. Department of State providing international investigations, threat analysis, cyber security, counterterrorism, security technology, and protection of people, property, and information.
According to Interfax news agency, during his visit to Baku, Boswell will also mention the issue of the arrest of the people accused of preparing terrorist attacks against US and Israeli citizens in the territory of Azerbaijan by the order of Iranian intelligence.
