Azerbaijani FM addresses Euronest committee

Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œ20% of Azerbaijanâ€™s territories are under occupation, we have 1 mln refugees and IDPsâ€, said Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov in his speech at a meeting of Euronest Parliamentary Assemblyâ€™s Committee on Political Affairs, human rights and democracy. He said that Azerbaijan continued the democratic reforms: â€œWe established close relationship with our neighbors. For example, we have good relations with Russia. We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of our relations with this country on April 3â€.

Mammadyarov said noted good relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia: â€œSOCAR is the largest tax payer in this countryâ€.

Mammadyarov underlined the significance of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line. He said that the first train on this line will leave Baku at the need of this year: â€œJust imagine, you will get on a train here, and get off the train in London or in Brusselsâ€.
