It is not in the interest of Israelâ€. said Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Bob Carr in the telephone conversation with Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman, APA reports quoting â€œFarsâ€ news agency. Despite insisting he was concerned over an Israeli strike, Carr said a military operation was still only a "hypothetical solution".

â€œThere can be no time limit on efforts to end the confrontation over Iran’s nuclear programmeâ€, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in his interview to â€œReutersâ€. He said Iran had increased cooperation with the U.N. nuclear agency’s efforts to make sure it is not after nuclear weapons, urging the five permanent U.N. Security Council members and Germany to display "equal readiness" for serious talks. â€œThe situation is worse and more dangerous than months before. I believe that our Israeli colleagues over-estimate the degree of danger that Iran may pose. Russia is still of the firm belief that there is no credible evidence of (a) military component in the Iranian programmeâ€, he said.
