Istanbul hosts 1st meeting of Working groups of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States

Secretary General of the Council Khalil Akinchi told Azertag agency that 4 working groups on improvement of investment atmosphere, diversification of economy, development of transport and cooperation of entrepreneurship facilities were established under the decision of Astana meeting of economy ministers, held on October 13, 2011. The purpose of the working groups is to prepare offers for strengthening of economic cooperation and trade relations.

The working groups have prepared recommendations for submission to the economy ministers. The recommendations include establishment of a joint venture for acceleration of passages from the Caspian Sea, improvement of infrastructure, which will provide combination of the ports in the Caspian Sea with dry roads, conjunction to the international agreements for improvement of trade relations between member states, organization of annual joint exhibition and business forums, holding of courses for practice exchange, opening of trade advisories in every member state, expansion of cooperation opportunities of small and medium entrepreneurship, foundation of joint information center and website.
