Several MPs condemn German Foreign Ministerâ€™s meeting with several opposition representatives and NGO members

Baku â€“ APA. YAP deputy secretary, MP Mubariz Gurbanli criticized the meeting of the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle during his visit to Azerbaijan, with the several representatives of opposition and NGOs. APA reports that at the meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament today, Gurbanli said that he welcomes such meetings, but is against holding it behind closed doors: â€œAll guests, including German Foreign Minister can meet leaders and representatives of any political party and NGO. But to hold these meetings behind the closed doors is not correct. I consider it as interference in the domestic affairs of Azerbaijanâ€.

MP Zahid Oruj also criticized the meeting of the German Foreign Minister with the opposition. Oruj emphasized that the embassies must be attentive while scheduling the visit programs of the foreign ministers: â€œWhat is connection between the meeting with opposition and the foreign policy.â€

Oruj also said that when some people want to take something from Azerbaijan, they attempt to activate opposition parties.
