Pakistani President to visit Azerbaijan

He will hold a working meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and attend Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum, APA reports. It will be a largest business forum between the Azerbaijani and Pakistani delegations in the past 20 years.

Talking to Pakistan Observer Dashgin Shikarov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan said: â€œRobust political and diplomatic relations between Islamabad and Baku will be translated into strong economic and commercial bonds also.â€ The Forum will give a tremendous fillip to trade and investment between both the friendly and brotherly states, Dashgin Shikarov said. Great potential exists to increase volume of trade and investment in both the countries.

Ambassador Shikarov emphasized that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey are the only countries which have not recognized Armenia. â€œThe government and the people of Azerbaijan are grateful to Pakistan for giving support to its stand on Nagorno-Karabakh issueâ€, said the diplomat.
