Azerbaijani President receives Serbian president’s advisor and minister of economy and regional development

Baku – APA. On March 15, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received advisor to the Serbian president for economic issues Biserka Jeftimijevic-Drinjakovic and minister of economy and regional development Nebojša Ćirić.

According to APA, Biserka Jeftimijevic-Drinjakovic conveyed greetings of Serbian President Boris Tadic and said that the president of Serbia thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the constructive policy of Azerbaijan in Eastern Europe and Balkan region. She underlined the usefulness of the visit of the Serbian president to Baku and the visit of the Azerbaijani president to Belgrade for the extension of relations between the countries, and stressed the importance of the mutual high-level visits in strengthening of cooperation.

Reminding about the meetings with the Serbian president, the Head of State also stressed the important role of these meetings in the development of bilateral relations. President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan-Serbian relations rose to the level of partnership. The Head of State said there were good opportunities for the extension of economic relationship.

President Aliyev thanked for Boris Tadic’s greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the Serbian president.
