The Head of State said there was very intensive political dialogue between the countries: â€œThe level of our political relations is perfect. Your visit is a good indication of it. I consider that we have to focus attention on other spheres too. Today we discussed the economic cooperation and investment opportunities. I think the successful development of bilateral relations will help to establish better relations between our regions. Azerbaijan plays very important role in the Caspian region. Croatia is one of the leading countries of your region. The close relations between the countries will have an effective impact on the regional cooperation. I am sure that the results of your visit will be successful and our countries will become closerâ€.

In his turn, Croatian President Ivo Josipovic said Croatia and Azerbaijan have good opportunities to develop cooperation not only in the political field, but also in economic and cultural spheres. â€œOur delegation is ready to discuss details of our future economic cooperation. We know about your plans towards the investment in the region. There is a good opportunity for cooperation between the South-East Europe and the Caucasus. Our countries have hard history and similar historic experience. Our bilateral relations are based on mutual understandingâ€.
