Azerbaijani delegation to attend meetings of PACE committees

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. The Standing Committee, Monitoring Committee, Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will hold meetings in Paris, France on March 9-14. Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s press service told APA that the delegation led by chairman of the international and interparliamentary relations, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov will attend the meetings. The delegation includes Elkhan Suleymanov and Sabir Hajiyev.

The Council of Europe and the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union, rights of the national minorities, the results of the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan, Russiaâ€™s commitments, reports on the visits of the fact-finding missions to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, crisis for democracy in Europe, situation in Syria and other issues will be discussed at the meetings.

Azerbaijani parliamentarians will address the events, express their views on the issues discussed at the meetings.
