Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan: â€œI call on the journalists of both countries to cover only the materials serving the improvement of the bilateral relationsâ€

Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œThe trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers in Nakhchivan is significant both from regional and international standpointâ€, said Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mahammadbaghir Bahrami, APA reports. He underlined the importance of the meeting in Nakhchivan.

While speaking about the current state of Iran-Azerbaijan relations, the ambassador addressed the journalists of the two countries:
â€œI call on the journalists of both countries to cover only the materials serving the improvement of the bilateral relations.â€

The ambassador also touched on Nagorno Karabakh conflict and said that this issue is the problem of the region. According to him, if Azerbaijan wants, Iran can be mediator in this issue. The ambassador criticized the activity of OSCE Minsk Group: â€œThey donâ€™t settle the problem, on the contrary they create a problemâ€.

Bahrami said once again that Iran intends to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes: â€œIran has no nuclear production. In general, nuclear weapon must be destroyed, wherever it is. I must underline that now the nuclear weapon has no influence. We know this from the present-day world practice.â€
