The embassy told APA that the ambassador spoke in a workshop titled “The opportunities of developing Eastern Partnership cooperation†within the forum.
He said that Azerbaijan chose the way of integration into Europe and successfully cooperated with the European institutions. He noted that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the Eastern Partnership program and hoped for complete and comprehensive cooperation within it.
Diplomat said that it was wrong to express different positions to the similar conflicts in the region.
Hasanov also touched upon Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict and underlined that Armenia was keeping our lands under occupation and took unconstructive position in the negotiations: “The same attitude to aggressor and its victim complicates the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict through the negotiationsâ€.
