Elkhan Suleymanov: â€œIt is a great political success for Azerbaijan to hold the Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Bakuâ€

Brussels. Victoria Dementieva â€“ APA. â€œAzerbaijan is ready for the plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly which will be held in Baku. Azerbaijani delegation is seriously preparing for it. I hope that this session will end successfully and it will be memorable historical event for Azerbaijanâ€, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Elkhan Suleymanov told APA. He said that it was a great political success for Azerbaijan to hold the session in Baku: â€œWe have not achieved it easily. Azerbaijani delegation carried out long-term work and we achieved it as a result of votingâ€.

Meetings of 4 committee â€“ Democratic and political committee, Social committee, Energy security committee and Economical committee will be held within the plenary session in Baku. The preliminary reports of these committees were discussed in January and all decisions will be made in April session.

Suleymanov also answered the question about the participation of Armenian delegation. He noted that security of Armenian delegation will be fully ensured and they could participate at the event: â€œWe sent official letter to the Armenian delegation saying their security will be ensured.â€

Plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will be held on April 2-4 in the capital of Azerbaijan.
