Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Russian President-elect Vladimir Putin

Press service of the President told APA that the letter reads:

Please accept my sincere congratulations on occasion of your election to the post of president of the Russian Federation. Your victory in the elections shows the high trust of Russians to You and Your program, directed to ensuring of political and social stability, economic growth in your country, further development of democratic institutions, consolidation of rule of law and legal order, protection of moral and mental values. Friendly and good neighborhood relations between our countries, which rely on age-old traditions, develop comprehensively and dynamically today. I am sure that the interstate mutual activity and strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Russian Federation will strengthen and extend for the welfare of our people, peace, stability and security in the region as a result of our joint efforts.
