Seven more government applications are planned to be integrated into Azerbaijan's myGov platform by the end of this year, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Hasanov said at the roundtable titled "Digital Architecture: Program Management and Results-Based Approach", organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, efforts are underway to consolidate the standalone digital services of various government institutions into the unified myGov platform.

The goal is to expand citizens' access to all public services through a single platform.

The deputy minister noted that the lack of a unified approach among government agencies' databases and the incomplete integration of information systems currently limit the efficient use of data. For this reason, work has begun on creating a centralized state-owned data pool as an initial step.

He added that the transition to a unified platform will simplify the delivery of practical public services. For example, while registering a birth previously required separate documentation at different government agencies, the process will in the future be carried out through myGov as a single integrated service. A similar approach is planned to be applied to other public services as well.
