Baku – APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received Pakistani delegation led by the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Khalid Shameem Wynne. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA that during the meeting the guest informed about the social and political situation in his country, the challenges and threats Pakistan faced and underlined that Pakistan has a strategic significance for the establishing of peace and security in Afghanistan.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is highly estimated Pakistan’s support of Azerbaijan’s position on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The sides exchanged views about the regional problems and the issues of mutual interesting.
