APA reports that the decree says the activities of consular office of the embassy, which will be opened in Baku, will cover the entire country. The document notes that the opening of the embassy will contribute to strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina Hector Timerman is expected to visit Azerbaijan tomorrow. Official opening ceremony of the embassy will be held during the visit. Besides the agreement on visa facilitation between Azerbaijan and Argentina will be signed.
Azerbaijan has already opened embassy in Buenos Aires. Azerbaijani Culture Days will be held in Argentina next year. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Tourism of Argentina Enrique Meyer, who visited Azerbaijan 2 weeks ago.
