Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali: It is high time to set up a military bloc of the Muslim countries

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. â€œArmenia has no influence over Pakistan, because we do not recognize Armenia as a state,â€ deputy chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali said at the press conference in Baku, APA reports.

Noting that Pakistan supports Azerbaijanâ€™s position on territorial integrity, Jamali said his country supports and will continue to support Azerbaijan within the framework of OIC, ISESCO and UN.
â€œWe will strengthen our position. Pakistan does not recognize Israel because of Palestinian problem, Armenia because of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, supports Turkeyâ€™s position regarding the Northern Cyprus,â€ he said.

According to the Senate official, it is high time to set up a military bloc of the Muslim countries. He underlined that there is potential for this.
â€œThe West has double standard approach on the processes. When something happens in the Christian world, they try to interfere immediately. But they do not interfere in what happens in the Muslim world â€“ Karabakh, Bosnia etc. They do not try to implement the UN resolutions,â€ he said.
