The statement says: “The Head of State highly appreciates the appeal of a group of members of the French Senate to the French Constitutional Council and public for repeal of the law criminalizing the denial of the so-called “Armenian genocide†and expresses his gratitude to the persons in France who have taken firm stance.
It should be noted that the step taken by the French Constitutional Council is a barrier to the hypocrisy of the world Armenians and is another example of the failure of insidious activity of the Armenian lobby in the world.â€
The French Constitutional Council repealed the law criminalizing the denial of the so-called “Armenian genocide†on February 28.
