Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. The Azerbaijani parliamentarians, who visited Armenia, held a press conference, APA reports. Spokesman for the Azerbaijani parliament Akif Tevekkuloglu said parliamentarians Rovshan Rzayev, Faraj Guliyev and Azay Guliyev visited Armenia on February 21-23 to attend the meeting of the social committee of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. Azay Guliyev said a heated discussion took place at the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Azay Guliyev said no one met them in Yerevan.
“We were told that the intelligence officers would meet us. But no one met us. Finally, we approached a serviceman and said we had come from Azerbaijan. He phoned somewhere. They came and took us to the detention facility. The next two days our security was ensured perfectly. Our hotel room was secured for 24 hours. When returning we were seen off at VIP room,†he said.
